Yesterday Mercury went into retrograde.
Mercury retrograde occurs as a result of the Earth’s revolution and rotation mechanism making it appear that Mercury is moving in the opposite direction than what it normally moves.
When Mercury goes into retrograde it is said to disturb communication equipment and transportation networks. But it is also the perfect time to look back on the past and review and revise things!
On July 21st, we will be welcoming a New Moon in Cancer, and there will be a special Annular Eclipse as well! This year a very irregular event is taking place in that there will be two New Moons in Cancer. Along with the Mercury retrograde in Cancer, you can see that Cancer is definitely the sign which symbolizes 2020, and it is clearly serving as a springboard for fortune and opportunity.
From my perspective, this New Moon in Cancer and Mercury retrograde in Cancer are both an extension of stay at home. This New Moon is urging us to think about our post Corona lifestyle.
